Located on Naisoso Island next to Fiji’s mainland island of Viti Levu in the tropical South Pacific, the project faces the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands to the west.
This is a new-world tropical home, designed to reconcile security with open contemporary living in an almost fantasy setting.
It is also a house designed to be built in Fiji where the construction industry has its challenges — it is of simple construction and it is low cost. It is built with local trade block, in-situ plastered concrete and imported aluminium joinery and security fins. The security fins also act as storm shutters as well as sun shades. A simple coral stone wall adds local texture to the all-white interior on cool concrete floors.
