Boatshed Bay is a secluded west-facing, golden sand beach, and the project site is in a natural amphitheatre formed from the gently sloping hills behind the bay.

Our client’s brief was for a casual yet timeless and robust holiday home that allows both separate and integrated living for them and their extended family (two adult children with their respective families) and frequent guests. Our design response was three connected pavilions arranged in u-form around a north-facing, sheltered internal courtyard. The roof forms echo the nearby historic boatsheds, as does the board and batten cladding.
