This retrofit and conversion of Auckland’s historic Nestle Chocolate factory is a 4000m² mixed use development including commercial offices, showrooms, residential apartments, restaurants and cafes. Internal planning and circulation was reconfigured around a large internal courtyard. The resulting precinct has become the hub of the Parnell urban community.
